Blessed are those who now mourn, weep and sob, for they will be comforted and laugh! Blessed are the meek who are mild, patient, and long-suffering, because they will inherit the earth! Blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty to stand upright with G-d, for they will be filled and completely satisfied! Blessed are the merciful, for they will obtain mercy! Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see G-d as He really is! Blessed are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they will be called the sons of G-d! Blessed are those who are persecuted for doing good and for being right, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven! Blessed are you when people revile and despise you and persecute you, when they exclude and excommunicate you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely to denounce and defame your name and cast you out on account of the Son of Man. |
